WEverb: Read

via
I read The Girls' Guide to Hunting and Fishing over the summer, and it left me craving more, but not in a good way.  Specifically, when I finished it, I was so unsatisfied.  I felt like the book was erratic, not cohesive, and really just poorly structured.  Honestly, when I finished it, I worried that my copy was missing some chapters or an entire section due to a misprint, that's how mediocre (at best) it was.  When I asked some other people for their opinions I learned that, nope, my copy was complete in print, just incomplete in story-telling.

    1. ugh, really?? I always hate when I dislike something another person likes. I'd love to hear your thoughts on it, though -- everyone I talked to had either not read it or read it a long time ago, so I didn't have much of a fruitful discussion. Maybe I'm missing something :)
